Winter Core Competency Training-FULL

January 17 – March 20 (Mon – Fri) 9 am – 12 pm (EST)

Virtually facilitated via Zoom. This training curriculum is rooted in participatory learning techniques and adult learning principles. Training is 161 hours in duration over approximately 6 weeks. Broken down into 3 weeks of facilitated learning (Jan. 17 – Feb. 7) a 2 week break for practicum completion (Feb. 7 – Feb. 28), and 3 more weeks of facilitated learning (Mar. 1 – Mar. 20).Learners will be equipped with the foundational knowledge necessary to begin work as a Community Health Worker. Participants who complete all phases of training are eligible to sit for the SC CHW Certification Exam administered by the SC CHW Association.
