Our Rural Health specialty track was developed based on combined efforts from the UofSC School of Social work, South Carolina Office of Rural Health, and Community Health Workers across the state who work in rural South Carolina. This training is a two-day participatory workshop for health professionals working in the scope of a CHW or professionals interested in learning how to more effectively conceptualize and engage in work with members of rural communities. In exchange for formal feedback, participants will be offered certificates of completion. If you would like to sign up for the training, please visit our Current Trainings page. For more information regarding CCHAs efforts in rural settings, visit our “Focus Areas” page.
