70% of parents and caregivers of adults reported adverse mental health symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic. 55% reported anxiety or depression. 54% reported COVID-19 trauma and stressor-related disorders. While 39% reported passive or 32% reported serious suicidal thoughts. Parents and unpaid caregivers of adults could benefit from increased access to mental health support and resources.
