We have received an opportunity to host a training about lupus, a chronic disease that disproportionately affects women and racial/ethnic minorities. Offered over a course of 6 hours, with a 1 hour break for lunch. Learn about the signs and symptoms of lupus, lupus health disparities, and lupus clinical trials and clinical trials disparities. Obtain skills to increase lupus awareness and support clients with potential and diagnosed lupus, as well as self-management strategies.This training will be facilitated in English, however, handouts for clients and community members are available in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
